Responses to questions submitted on the 2015-17 Florida MIECHV Request for Proposals (RFP) are posted here.
The RFP seeks applicants in unserved, designated high-need areas to implement one of three evidence-based home visiting models: the Nurse Family Partnership, Healthy Families Florida and Parents as Teachers for a two-year period. Approximately 400 additional families will be served by the new sites. A 2011 needs assessment identified 29 high-need communities in the state. Evidence-based home visiting programs are currently implemented in 16 of these areas with MIECHV funding. Only unserved communities are eligible to apply for funding. One application will be accepted for each high-need area.
