FL MIECHV data is collected through the Florida Home Visiting Information System (FLOHVIS), a customized, web-based data system using Efforts to Outcome (ETO) software.
FLOHVIS utilizes ETO’s new TouchPoints platform which is user-friendly, dynamic, and compatible with many mobile devices. It has increased capacity to produce rich and efficient reports for program management, CQI and MIECHV reporting. Demographic, service utilization, assessment and outcome data are entered into FLOHVIS by local implementation sites.
Social Solutions developed FLOHVIS through a collaborative process with Florida MIECHV state and local implementing staff.
Access to FLOHVIS is limited to local implementation sites.

Data Collection Manual
The goal of the MIECHV Data Collection Manual v6 is to provide a blueprint for data activities, as well as specific operational policies and protocols.
This plan provides a description of the MIECHV data system—the Florida Home Visiting Information System (FLOHVIS)—and its components. It presents an integrated framework for data collection/entry and data quality monitoring, including specific roles and responsibilities of the state, local implementation sites, and home visiting staff. Processes for ensuring consistent data quality and addressing identified issues are offered as part of a broader Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) effort. And, strategies to guarantee programmatic and staff accountability are described.
