Request for Proposals (RFP) Technical Assistance Call

A Technical Assistance call was held this morning to review the recently released Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish at least four new evidence-based home visiting programs in selected high-need Florida communities.  A copy of the presentation is posted here.RFP

Funding will be awarded for up to two years to implement one of three evidence-based home visiting models: the Nurse Family Partnership, Healthy Families Florida and Parents as Teachers. Approximately 400 additional families will be served by the new sites. A 2011 needs assessment identified 29 high-need communities in the state. Evidence-based home visiting programs are currently implemented in 16 of these areas with MIECHV funding. Only unserved communities are eligible to apply for funding. One application will be accepted for each high-need area.

Letters of intent are due June 17, 2015. Applications are due on July 24, 2015. Funding will be available October 1, 2015 – September 30, 2017.
